Capt Paddy & Lucky have completed their month with the Irish Air Corps navigating themselves around the daily activities during their recruitment process to gaining their wings.
Activities included
An exhausting day at the fitness work out centre.
Having a nose around the workshop
Tour around Casement Aerodome
Discussed the duties of the Crash Rescue Service
Met Rexy the Harris Hawk from the Bird Control Unit.
Flying in the PC-21, Agusta Westland AW139, Eurocopter EC135 and the finally to our adventures was formation flying in the PC-9s as part of Eagle formation.
I would like to thank the Irish Air Corps for the amazing support that they have given to the Aviation Ireland Challenge the past month. We can all agree we have thoroughly enjoyed watching their adventures.
